Our sailing catamaran is based on Marina de San Miguel, south of Tenerife Island, only 4 kms from Tenerife Sur airport. You will spend an amazing sailing tour watching dolphins and whales, anchoring off Playa La Tejita for swimming, snorkelling and Stand Up paddle boarding.
Our amazing 3:30 hour itinerary
Time flies when you are having fun! Those 4 hours will fly. We will set sail from Marina de San Miguel, our base in the south of Tenerife, which is the most sheltered side of the island and thus the best to sail since the sea is mostly flat and calm. After leaving behind the marina, we will sail East passing by Los Abrigos, where we will be able to contemplate the natural swimming pools carved by the sea in the rocks of that part of the coast.
Then, leaving aside Punta del Levitero, we will sail in front of Playa Los Perros. At this point it is very likely that we have seen already a lots of dolphins and probably some whales.
After Playa Los Perros we will reach Sotavento Tenerife and the legendary Chiringuito Pirata, a well known beach bar on the sand right at the beginning of the gorgeous sandy beach Playa la Tejita.
We will sail all the way to the end of famous Playa la Tejita, in El Medano, looking for the sheltered waters behind the Montaña Roja “Red Mountain” . After approximately one hour of sailing since we left our port, we will drop the anchor right behind the mountain, on a usually flat as a table sea, perfect for jumping in, swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding or just relaxing on the net listening to your play-list through the bluetooth speakers of our amazing sailing catamaran.
After one hour of fun and relaxation we will start heading back to our Marina, where we will arrive 3:30 hours after we left.

Sometimes the weather in Ibiza is really nice even in October, but since most clubs and hotels close by early October, tourists stop coming to the island.
Ibiza and Formentera could have seasons for boat rentals much longer if the tourism industry would start ealier and finish later.
